This is another little game which I picked up on other message boards. The way it works is the topic starter (me) posts a single word and the next person must post a compliment to that word, i.e. something that goes with it. For example:

Mainwaring: Fish.
dave: Chips.

And the object of the game is to get as many words as possible linked together. If someone thinks there are no more possible words to add, they can start a new one. It doesn't have to link to the original word either. For example:

Mainwaring: Fish
dave: Chips
Mainwaring: Salt
dave: Cellar
Mainwaring: Wine

So you can keep going for a long time as you can see.
